Tara Bricco (pronounced BRICK-oh) was born and raised in Memphis, TN with brief sojourns to the Dallas, TX area and the Jacksonville, FL area. She is unapologetically Southern and equally unapologetically conservative.
As the only child of divorced parents, Tara was raised in a household with her mother, maternal grandparents and an aunt who married late in life–a situation which offered a smorgasbord of food for thought, development, and humor.
In 1980 Tara married Rory Bricco, a maverick/out-of-the-box thinker who has shaped and shook who and what Tara was and is, helping her to become the woman she is today.
In the spring of 1992 the couple moved their family onto a farm about 30 miles north of Memphis where they have raised beef, hay, goats, rabbits, sheep, pigs, emu, and the Bricco children. The entire family was involved in the building of the family home (a three and a half year project), which was built with their own hands.
Tara hopes to share and exchange insights and experiences with you in a warm, thought provoking and humorous way.
Come on in to the Café Expression, pull up a chair. Have a mocha, a warm, Southern welcome and a friendly chat.
